Haha they're Purdy alright.

 

They might be a tad bit blue. If there were 55w it wouldn't matter. 4600 and 5500 would be about the same.

 

FML They told me pure white.

 

I wouldn't worry about it. And yeah I guess that's true. 6k is were it gets blue.

But technically 4300 is the most usable light

what are you wiring your halos to? tapping into your corner lights?

 

Yes tapped into corner lights and low beam circuit for the halo shut off relay

 

Ok guys well I just got done... Sorta.

Couple of things.

1.) Well I turned on my lights for the first time and I was amazed. The halo setup works perfect. Was a pain to wire up the 4 halos and 2 relay setups but I got it done. The shut off the second I click the low beams on.

Ok now for the not so good stuff

2.) after I shut them off to test the halos, I turned them back on. My driver side headlight made a squeek and the bulb went out. Kinda just blew up in the middle of the bulb. So that's awesome... Will be phoning TRS Monday

3.) Im not crazy about the color. When turned on they're blue... About 30 seconds in they've changed to a nice cool white. It's not bad, but I would prefer a warm white... Maybe I'll see if there's a way to get a discount on a set of some nice Phillips 4800k Xtreme Visions... That would be tits.

4.) Well the one headlight that is working is the one that the threads got stripped out on. I eyeballed it straight as I could but it's not perfect. :/

5.) ok so TRS says from 25 feet away you want your headlight cutoff even with the bottom of other vehicles mirrors... Well this was kinda hard based on the vehicles surrounding me. My mirrors were at like 54", my dads leveled ram 2500 on 35s were at 57", my moms 2" lifted Jeep Wrangler on 33s were at 49", The Viper was on a whole nother planet so That got ignored, and finally her Lexus Gx470 (stock) was at 47". So I shot for that but I still fear that may be too high.
Regardless my headlight maxed at 44"... Soooo. Guess that better be good enough. Unless you experts think I should lower it.

Finally I tried to snap some halo pics but the damn things are so bright My phone camera can't focus on them. Look amazing in real life though. My little taco looks like he has eyes hahaha.
