Put a 4 foot bed, make it 4wd, and give it 6 more inches of legroom, I may bite.

I think dealerships should be called an automotive Ponzi scheme. I do not want to know my dealer. Knowing them too well means mechanical problems in general, something I rarely ever worried about since I went 95% Toyota.

DCSB's have a 5' bed. If you want a DCSB 4x4, get the V6. Especially if you plan on doing any truck stuff with the truck. Don't worry about the V6's reliability. Toyota doesn't have a reputation for being the most reliable for nothing.

Looks like that is the only option in 2016. But I was hopeful some new engine info about the 2017 would emerge and especially the 2018 redesign. I prefer a diesel or turbo 4 or hybrid 4...all rumored, nothing confirmed.

Really? That is like saying you are total moron if you make less money than $100,000k a year, especially since I make more than $100K. Since you have all the answers, I am surprised you are on auto threads seeking advice instead of being at Toyota telling the CEO what to do.

My obsession? You're obsessed with an option that doesn't exist. And if it did, most of us agree it wouldn't be worth it.
