FS: FX-R / Mini RETROFITS and BHLM (NO DOWN TIME!)

I'm still getting flashed all the time. I've set my cutoff at 40" from 25' on option C. Thinking about maybe giving B a try.



Also should my projectors be rotated left or right any? Where's the step supposed to be in relation to the middle of your lane?

 

Leave it at option C but lower both a bit. Sometimes the color flicker distract drivers

 

Ok I'll give it a go at 38" and see how that works. Do they look centered to you?

 

Looks good so far! The top of the cutoff should be under the side mirrors on most cars

 

So you had to shim both lights or just one? And when you say sanding mounting surfaces what do you mean exactly?

 

Call me crazy but I don't see any difference between A, B & C

 

Look at the cutoff of the dark blue line in each option

i know this reply was posted a few weeks ago

but the crazy thing is that I've done 4 retrofits and ive always use your cheap $4 spray paint can krylon (specifically for plastic) and ive had 0 paint issues. my first retro that was purchased by another member is going strong 2+years old

 

is the partner or ambig gonna reply to any of this? lol

Thats why as much as I didn't know anything about baking headlights and retrofit, I bit the bullet and built my own. #1 i didn't have to spend $1000+ and #2 if i fukd it up , i have no one to blame but me.

I watched tons of youtube videos, read hidplanet.com forums and read and read and read.

Anyway, good luck to the members who are dealing with issues. Hopefully the builder can help you all

Okay so I know there have been a lot criticism here over the last few pages but I'd like to hear from the rest of those guys who were in on the order that was shipped right before Christmas. Do you guys have any feedback on you experience and your lights? I think I've only heard from a couple of guys who received them. I gotta assume there are a bunch more.

 

I'm sure they're are a lot more people since Rad said he's going to try and ship majority of them by christmas.

 

Wow. . . This has been a crazy week back in dealing with work. I posted a bit right before I had to take personal time. I stepped away to handle personal family issues. I didn't log on to TW nor did I deal with emails at all during this period. I dealt with the sudden passing of my father and I don't want to get into further details with that. I just had a rough 3 weeks and now that I skimmed through this thread. It hasn't gotten any easier. It took me sometime to get everything on track and handle the customer service side of things. However my failure to address anything over the course of 3 weeks seem to have taken its toll. I am at a better place right now and I look at this as a challenge to get past. I truly believe in our lights and every company has their issues. It's a matter on how we address them with the customer is key. I will be taking the time to handle this all.

I will clarify a few things to touch on the issues at hand. I will give a general idea on how RECHELON AESTHETICS was established. Burt did his retrofitting prior to me accepting to work with him. He did his work separate under AMBIGIUOUS (This Thread). RECHELON was formed early 2015 between Burt and I after we sat down and combined both our strengths together. I've done over 65 sets of BHLM to local Socal members over span of 2008-2012 with no issues. I decided l no longer had time to do them anymore and stopped. I understand what it takes to make a clean set with details and no moisture issues. This is what I brought to RECHELON. It pains me to see some of the issues that came about prior to RECHELON as a company. Burt and I have done over 100 sets of Retrofits already and the flaw rate on them is very minimal. I am trying to wrap my head around the builds he did independently.

I believe in our product and I put a lot of work to make sure they're what the customer wants. I will be taking some time to read through the threads and see what I can do to still resolve things with the few people.

We've done so many Beautiful RECHELON Retrofits and its sad to see a few early Ambiguous sets hurt the company name.

I do know one thing, Burt will not be doing anymore customer service as I will be the main person doing it.

I will also separate RECHELON AESTHETICS from AMBIGUIOUS Retrofitting services. I will address those issues and move on in a positive note.

Every Retrofitting service has their problems and I feel confident that after doing so many, we've mastered ours.

I look forward in communicating with you guys daily. I apologize for my recent disappearance but I assure you I'll be here.
