thanks! Looking to sell my truck right now and grab a 5th gen right before graduation. I figure after a lift from ADS and some new wheels and tires, it should be close to as capable as my truck is right now. Then I'll get to armoring it.

That's awesome. Can't wait to see it. I like the new tundras but I am trying to downsize in length. Moving to LA so smaller is better.

Here is the ADS tool. It looks like it is also right on 5/16" diameter.

LoL @Dogg23 You kinda need both ends to adjust the shocks while on the truck since the spindle and the shock tower bucket are in the way. The curved end can push and pull. Plus the handle tip.

I scoured around the shop and found a 5/16" punch. It worked great.

how many of you guys are running the hydro bumps at the rear? i'm having some issues and am wondering if anyone else has run into this or has some advice.

i have almost no space between the tip of the bump and the strike pad on the pack, so i am basically riding on the bumps. even on regular roads i'm getting an annoying rattling of the bumps hitting the pads almost continuously.

what leaf packs are you guys running? i have AP standards and my bumps are as high as they will go but i only have about a quarter inch gap

I will be running hydros with u402 w/aal.

First, it looks like you could move your bump higher into the can. You have it really low, you should be able to move it so only the shaft is below the frame (not the body).

But what it truly depends on is where your leaf pack is flat? Potentially seems like it is flat at ride height, but idk who installed any of your suspension or if it was cycled to determine where the bump should be placed. Could be flat due to weight or the pack just didnt hold.

i took that pic before i moved the bumps up, believe me they are cranked all the way to the top. i think the pack is the issue, it looks as flat as an OEM pack and i am definitely way less than the advertised 3" of lift. i think Dakars are rated at a 2.75 lift and looking at ozt's thread on lift numbers DCLB average center hub to fender measurement is 24 5/8. mine is listed at 3" but my hub to fender measurement is 22 1/4 -over 2 inches less

answered your own question then. You need a new pack that isnt flat
