I have the 5100's with eibach springs. IMO too stiff. Had a front spacer lift on my FJ before this truck. Rode great. Not a fan of this 5100 setup. Rear dakars are really bouncy too

The Eibach are like 640 lb spring rate IIRC , no doubt thats stiff

Do you haul or tow or carry constant rear weight ?

    EDIT : looks like 620

Never tow. Wanted to take a leaf out but man did these dakars settle. Have prolly lost over an inch in the rear and at least 1.5 in front!

Your Eibachs have come down 1 1/2" ?

and why did you decide to go with Dakars if load carrying isn't one of your end uses ?

Read on this forum how good they rode. Didn't want to AAL either.

Front came down quite a bit. Even with 1/2 and 1/4 spacer on top of strut truck has a rake again.

Dakars do ride great if you have 200-400 lbs onboard all the time

I would have recommended a different leaf pack or 3 leaf progressive AAL if you usually run empty

I'm surprised you've had that much settling , Eibachs and 5100's @ 0 should get you around 1 5/8" front lift , how much did you end up with ?

I had about 3 3/4 lift set at .85 and half inch spacer but now down just above 2 1/4. I have about 200 lbs of salt in the back and it does ride much better right now. Also took care of the rake. But would love to free up that space for summer so I'll have to figure something else out.

What made you decide to go Eibach , 5100's @ .85 and 1/2" spacer for your front set up versus just going 885's or similar ?

Remove the 3rd leaf down from the top will soften the ride of the Dakar pack

Has anyone had any experience running 885's with 5100's? What kind of lift did you get out of it? Did you experience the oh so known taco lean?

i have a 2015 and put a rough country 3" lift on it with 285/70/17 and had ZERO issues and i play in the mud alot. Now i have a 6" zone offroad lift on it. my truck spends a fair amount of time offroad for a daily driver. i would highly recommend the rough country 3" lift. the price wont break your wallet and the kit holds up. i believe alot of guys on here are hell bent on hating spacer lifts. if you dont have to crawl over a brick wall every day to check your mail, a spacer lift will be fine ;)

I ran 5100's with OME 885 and 886's on my previous truck. Never had one issue and they were a comfortable ride.
