Haynes manuals are notorious for bad information. I have one and have found lots of bad info. The pictures are nice but I would never trust one for important jobs.

I've heard that sometimes the torque values are off but other than that haven't heard many complaints. What kind of bad information have you come across?

V6 auto transmission fluid level check comes mind. I've had better information here.

Thanks, ordered! I almost ordered the older version that only goes up to 2011 just last night on Amazon!

In my experience for anything critical and/or complicated I want the FSM (which I have for the 2006 and is close enough to the 2015 for almost everything except wiring diagrams and interior). However, in my experience the third party manuals often include some short cuts, tips and useful photos that are a nice compliment to FSM when planning out a job. And its a paper copy that can live in the truck should I need to try to do something in the field.

Purchased, thanks for the heads up. I plan on having my truck a long while and have been wanting one. Can't go wrong for $20.

I have the 2005-2011 Tacoma book by Haynes. It would be interesting to compare this older manual with the "thru 2015" version.

    Wut.

I have used them for 20+ Jeeps that I have owned, and they have always been fine.

I guess to each their own.

I'm buying one! Thanks @JcDillon for pointing this out, brotherman!

Don't let the man keep you down bro.

Never had a problem here either. But only on 12 vehicles.
