Hey buddy, quick question. Do you get flashed much at night with your headlights?

I don't suppose you'd know how high your cutoff line is at from 25 feet away would you?

Supposed to be ~40" at 25'. At least that's what I did and I don't get flashed anymore

I don't even bother with measuring it out anymore, I just pull up next to a car and align my lights below their window as high as possible...then I just watch my cut off on traffic etc and adjust as necessary.
    Damn, ordered 20' already.

Yeah man!! Winch draws 500 amps @ 10k and I will be running it off a battery in the bed. 4/0 is the best choice for minimal voltage drop/safety for that length of run. Also had to go with a HD battery isolator as the switch so it can handle the continuous/variable amp draw.

yea that makes sense. i swapped over to 1/0 under the hood and thought that was a large wire, so 4/0 got me

probably not many terminal end choices for 4/0?

    Gahh. Thx, Will do.

Quite a few actually. The audio guys run it so most of the major companies have a decent selection. I did have to go buy a sweet hydraulic crimper though... I mean I guess I could have borrowed one lol

i did find a couple though that used a set screw to clamp down on the wire...but the grounds to the body i had to use ends that required the BFH method
