Did you have to trim anything with those 285's?

I'd try to stay at 2.5" up front, unless you're prepared for UCAs and trimming (adding caster moves the wheel back on the vehicle)

I manage reasonable alignment numbers on 2.5" with stock UCAs. I've also squeezed in 255/85/16 tires on stock rims with excellent all around results. I have preloaded 5100s and they work well, but I'd recommend better springs if you're prepared to buy them.

It sounds like our trucks see similar use - potentially in many of the same places. I get around the state quite a bit in the fall for "grocery shopping" :D

Hey I have a couple questions:

    1. Did you have to install wheel spacers to clear the UCA's so your tires wouldn't run on the UCA?

    2. Did you have to install trim packers to fix the taco lean? My driver side is sitting .5 inches lower then the drivers side.

No Complaints. Maybe a bit stiffer...but existing was getting a bit mushy after 5 years. It as a PITA to do myself, but I think worth it.

...it is a truck after all. ;)

Did you remove one of the leafs from the Dakar setup? Rear looks to sit a little lower then the front.

I see more space in his rear wheel well in that picture than in the front... Not sure what you're using for reference.

It may just be the way the picture was taken. When I compare the space in the wheel well it almost looks even but when I look at the whole picture it looks slightly higher in the front.

I had to add 3/8" additional spacers to the drivers side to level out the truck. (Edited)

265/75/16 fox 2.5 mid travel lift with icon 3 leaf mini pack in the rear. Love the ride, and the adjustability. Also keep in mind adjustable coil overs are more tunable and rebuildable. This pic was taken awhile back, but still running same lift.
Check my build thread for more pics/details.

Did you add them to the front and the rear or just the front?

Just the front drivers side also. When I got the front level the rear sat level also. In my case I went 885x front coils with the driver side 1/4" trim packer only had about 2" of lift so added a 1/2" top plate spacer to driver side and 3/8" to passenger and that got everything perfect for me.

So I was incorrect I had to add 3/8" of spacers to the drivers side to get it level.

I have 885's as well with the top plate spacers. Did not order trim packers so my drivers side sits exactly .5 inches lower than the passenger side. .25 inch spacer should give me about .5 inches of lift so I think I'm going to go ahead and order that.

In my Case the with the 1/4" trim packer I still sat 1/2" low on the drivers side. But every rig is a little different.
