    Looks awesome.

I think the aftermarket leather packages are worth every penny (as long as you source out for yourself). My dealer wanted 2500 for a set installed on my 3Rd gen which is obviusly marked up.

Although when I got into the dealers tester with a black roughened look leather package with red stiching it felt like a luxo rig. Not to mention clean factor if you got rugrats.
Imo it boosts the already improved interior up a an entire James Bond factor of 3 points (arbitrary scale I just invented).... :bucket:

Yeah there's no way I'd let anyone off with even the slightest scratch on a brand-new truck. If it were 20 years old and a beater truck it "might" be a different story.

I don't get why everyone is upgrading to leather. I see so many cons to it with the only upside being that it's easier to clean.

As a law enforcement officer I can tell you that if you are rear ended the other driver is automatically found at fault. Following to close on a public way. I get its a pain in the butt to get it fixed but it's a brand new truck. She will be charged for a surchargable event and her insurance premiums will go up. Maybe a good lesson to pay attention while driving. Just sayin.

    It's just better.

I've looked into it myself since there is a Katzkin installer around the corner from my house, yet it's just too expensive right now at $2,5. I'll do other mods then back to the idea of this later.

How is it better? It gets stupid hot in the summer, too cold in the winter, you're legs stick to it when you wear shorts, it's expensive (2.5K  that's long travel kit!), it's ugly (opinion) and I just hate the feel to it. The only leather I would every allow in one of my vehicle is the upgraded leather package bmw puts in it's high end models. If people like it that's fine with me, I just don't get it.

Just called the installer, it's actually $1,506.00 installed, much better than the other quotes I received.

I just like leather, always had it in all my other rides, summer isn't really a issue in my area.

As for the money, of course I'll be doing other mods first, and after them, I'll think about it.

I had vent visors for my 2013 Tacoma. Only the back ones fit unfortunately.

I love these seats, much better quality and look better (in my opinion) than the limited.

Im going to stop you there. Some states (Florida and Michigan to name two) have something called no-fault. Meaning unless she got a ticket for the entire thing, chances are No one gets blamed. And even then, the ticket has to equate directly to negligence and showing proof she caused the wrong doing (stupid as shit if you ask me). So unless she got a ticket...Good luck if you are in Florida. :/

Finally picked up my TRD last week. So far: Tint, Bed Matt, Removed V6 and Tacoma Badges (also remove the extremely annoying dealership badge).
Next up: Tires, leveling kit and customized image on the nav screen.

    Cheers

VA is a No Fault state as well. I agree. Stupid as shit!!

I had a close call last year in a parking lot at Target. I have NO idea, how this lady didn't put any damage on my jeep when she parked ON ME, but I was pissed and called the cops anyways and made her ass sweat it out.

I guess Valentine chocolates and cards are REALLY important!!

Yes, seriously! This Lexus is PARKED 3 feet AND angled into MY space. (She was out of her vehicle and in the store next to Target. I waited outside for her) How she didn't actually hit me or cause damage is beyond me!! She must of had many fortune cookies for dinner.

You are probably right. I am from MA. (Don't hate. I didn't deflate the balls). I can only speak from experience here and I know most insurers charge who is considered 51% at fault. Not sure of laws in Florida but in MA a civilian can issue a ticket through the PD that had jurisdiction but the civilian must be willing to appear in court at the hearing. Agreed it's a pain. I recently was saved by a smittybilt beaver tail I had on the truck when I was rear ended by a pot smoking teenager getting munchies at the McDonald's. No damage to the truck. Nice gouge in the front of his rice burner.
