More praise for the aluminum bumpers. Winched out three vehicles (one being a Tacoma stuck in a snow drift) today with no issues. Didn't see any flexing and no problems afterwards when I checked my mounts and the bumper itself. Pelfrey making em stout!

When did you place your order?

 

November 20th, but with the family issue and moving it was delayed. Satin quoted me Feb 1st last we spoke for new delivery.

 

Gotcha. I ordered mine the last day of November and haven't heard (received phone call) from Satin, yet regarding delivery. Maybe it has something to do with mine being aluminum and taking longer to build? Either way, not in a rush.

 

I got mine then too, 11/28... its def worth the wait, which one did you get?

 

Single hoop, aluminum, non powder coated. You're lucky that you're local; don't have to deal with the shipping

 

The company is going through major growth change and their family is going through some things. I reached out to her to get my update. I ordered aluminum as well, they have the same lead time as steel. The delay is caused by other factors. There is a thread under their vendor forum that explains the delays! Since you ordered right around mine, I would bet its coming soon!

Hang in there! Pelfrey is amazing in all aspects, they have earned my business with all my future armor!

 

I hope my post didn't come off as sounding like a complaint. I did read their update; Satin has been wonderful. This time frame actually works better for me. Even if I had the bumper here and ready to mount, I wouldn't have time for at least another month

 

I didn't read it as a complaint Just wasn't sure if you had seen their update is all! Either way! Looks like there are a few of us getting bumpers soon!

 

So how good is the Powdercoating from these guys? I am still up in the air on an aluminum or steel bumper. When powdercoated is the inside of the bumper coated as well or just left bare to rot over here in the North East salty mess?
