    Fun update: Yes, it was the source of the engine whine. Truck is much mo betta. Going to the muffler shop tomorrow for catalytic converters and smog.

    I'm confused. Are they trying to make the OHV stuff better or impose restrictions? I saw restoration but is that going to be done by prohibiting vehicles in more of the forest?

    That would be awesome. I'm a little lost on the grants though.

    Is it like permits to go off-roading? Like people who apply have more access to places than those who don't?

    No, the jist of it is that the Rangers are applying for funding to be able to provide more OHV route maintenance and operation, law enforcement (DUI and LEOs looking for people off trail), restoration of trails (ideally opening up some previously closed roads?).

    The meeting next week is to give your input as to where the funding should go! Open more trails!
