I normally order Weathertech vent visors but they aren't available for the 3rd Gen Tacomas yet. What are the alternatives out there? Anyone tried any of them and have thoughts on them? All feedback is appreciated.

My Old Lady wanted vent visors on her Corolla last summer. I looked at different types and ended up going with Weathertech as I was already on a "Weathertech" Buying Spree. I can honestly say that after buying and installing them, I wouldn't buy anything else. Great quality and a clean, super easy install. They look and perform great. I'd give it a few weeks. I'm pretty confident that they will hit the market soon.

Looked at AVS and Weathertech. Installed AVS today and they were an easy install and look great. Half the cost is a worthwhile saving.

Hey fellas , as someone who has only ever has the stick on ones . Do them in track ones work well ? Can you still roll the window down and they don't fly off ? It don't harm the window or track , anything ? I sure agree they look better than the stick on ones I have used but that was a long time ago . I would like something better than the ones I have used over 20 years ago on this new Tacoma .

Mine works great, doesn't affect how the window rolls up. I also have the avs slim line in channel ones

Your supposed to peel the red strip off the tape
    :boink:
How do you plan on getting them (fronts) out of the channel?
Avs sent me free regular in channel bcuz my low profile ones got a tiney bit bent in shipping and make contact with the window.
In my opinion the low pros are too low, i dont smoke cigarettes but i couldnt even get the ash off my dubey with the window cracked, no room there.20160908_180249.jpg

AVS all the way. You have to rough up the channel a little and then leave the windows up for 72 hours. No 'click' or anything when rolling up the windows.

The same is not true of the weathertechs I have for the Mazda CX5 - huge 'clunk' every time I rolled up the windows and then they would sometimes drop out. The weathertech in-channel for the CX-5 fronts didn't come with any adhesive. That 'clunk' almost made me not get the in-channels for the Taco, but so glad I got the AVS in channels

AVS for the win! Just make sure you clean out the channel with rubbing alvohol first and leave your windows rolled for a few days while they're setting.
