Id never get one with the 3vz. Shit motor. Gas guzzling gutless thing.

    And I guess it's actualy a 2nd gen not a 1st. So I wouldn't get it at all haha

Nope it definitely is a 1st Gen, fiberglass top and all. But he got it all repaired and raised the price so I'm not getting it anyway. The 3VZ isn't great but with a new exhaust manifold it at least won't blow head gasket and won't be quite as gutless as the 22RE.

Looks a like I found a new project for the rest of winter.
I'm going to try and restore it a bit and build a rack for the tent. I'd like to have this as an option for trips where we might want to run around in the truck without having to tear down camp every time. It a little rough, but its cheap! :D These are pretty hard to find around here, so I'd like to keep most of the modifications reversible.

    overrated

not sure what out the box gains could be had for tuning, other than saw "20hp" all over the website. pretty good gain for $500 although i think youd get the better use of the money with more supporting mods

It was pretty nice over there today, I had breakfast near the lake this morning. What tires are on the BRZ now, I didn't look when I was there.

The mod itch is hitting me hard right now too Ben. This past Friday I ran into an old buddy from high school while out driving around in his z20 right hand drive Toyota Soarer. By the end of the night we had a solid 20 or so modified cars rolling around little old Sheridan  Everything from turbo'd Hondas, Duramaxes, an RB swapped 240, and Subies of all shapes and sizes. Then Saturday night, same thing, got everyone together plus some more for a cruise and hangout. Yesterday my friend Kaitlyn and i had a little shoot for her STi planned but we managed to get a few more cars out for some photos. Very awesome weekend in this quiet little down.

Sheridan has a crazy car scene for what it is. You need to get the guy with the GTR to come out.

It really is pretty badass for the size of this place. Haven't seen that GTR around in a long time. I stopped once at the car wash cause I saw him there and told him "nice car" he just kinda looked at me like "well no shit" and said thanks. Typical r35 owner if you ask me lol.

Lol, I talked the a couple of the guys at the automotive store and they said he is pretty cool but he goes to the gym I go to when home and he seems pretty stern/doesn't want to be bugged. He isn't exactly young so he might be tired of all the young kids drooling over his car

What brand, I just sold off an old Peavy stereo compressor. I was surprised anyone near me wanted the old thing.

opinions on rear leaf spring axle shims, about 2.5 inches of lift compared to stock. Was thinking 2 but all i find is 3

I have 3 degree shims and they were Wheelers OffRoad brand. But I'm a bit more lifted in the rear, you probably don't need that extreme.

that was my assumption also, your ass is way too high! I cant find 2 degree ones except ones that are generic and im questioning them since there are no reviews.
