SB4000.

Its basically the same bus compressor that was in the SSL G and E series that you also find in Duality console. We have a Duality here at school so i know the comp pretty well. This is is a DIY kit that also offers some extra features the SSL ones doesn't. But it sound nearly identical.

Plus i get to build it.

And use it for my own personally mix setup.

Cost about 5-600 when all done i bet. Stupid cheap.

I have about 8 other kits i want to buy..sadly..all around 5-1000 for a stereo set. Most are compressors. But some mic pre amps too.

need mo money! Work doesn't pay enough here..


Plus my Boss at the symphony is giving me an old NeoTek Console to tear apart and fit the mic pres and eqs to racks for him. I get to keep at least 2 if i can salvage 4 for him at least. Which would be sick! about 800 bucks a channel right there so be sweet to have that too.

 

TacomaWorld might as well just change the name to BlowMoneyWorld. We all seem to be pretty good at that whether it be truck mods or not

I am feeling a lot better today after 4-5 days of the krudz. Rest, rest and rest is what did it for me.

Ben, you probably relapsed because you went back at it too hard, too soon.

And anyone else notice the days are starting to get noticeably longer. I did today. The clear skies may have helped. But it feels like summer is coming.

Well I should say 26 miles away.... I hate signature required. I'll be home tomorrow to sneak a peek. Yeti is going on the frame jig on monday to make sure everything is square before I start welding shock tower support buckets. Still need to figure out new Cv boots for the new axles.

 

@Digiratus Shock one is done! Went smoothly and the oil looked pretty good, was good to do all the seals and new oil. There was some corrosion under the wiper cap on the top of the sealhead, damn salty environment you live in! Was just on the surface so nothing serious. Below is a pic of shock #2 in the vise ready to go for tomorrow. Secret sauce new rebound should be groovy good
