I might be bsing you but I felt a bump in power with my dynomax muffler. But it had been straight piped for a day or 2 while I was waiting to put it on.

There's not much we can do to these trucks to get more power.

Outside of an engine swap...nope. Turbo or SC would do the trick but price wise...might as well spend the couple extra grand to swap in something at that point.

Probably around 6000 pounds. The boat has a v6 car engine in it so it's pretty heavy

That's way over our tow capacity. Lol..I thought my Honda 135 was heavy. I think you're going to need a bigger truck.

Is there any kind of boost chip for the 2.7L?

You are not going to get the power to pull 6,000lbs off any chip or bolt on accessories. Outside of the SC you are out of luck.

Nope. 120hp out of a NA 4cyl is a good feat and theres no simple ways to get more power. Hell, my v6 ford only has 140hp and that's with 2 more cylinders.

Boost chips, mufflers, cold air intakes(for the most part), etc. All do nothing performance wise on our engines.

Theres no cam kits or anything either.

Either buy a supercharger/turbocharger, get a new bigger truck, or just accept that you have a 4cyl that's as good as its gonna get.

You could always get 4.88 gears. But 6k is a lot for one of these trucks, they only weigh 3800 or so.Do you live in a area with no hills?

That's a great Tacoma picture, they look like worker ants crawling around. Also nice boat.

Two nice additions to my 2013 RC 4x4 manual.

I got it all via ebay. Seller "ysfaelksca" has the CC kit for $90 and he includes the trim piece, best price I've seen. His price on the clutch switch was $26 and that includes the wiring. He has his own set of instructions similar to the Rostra instructions.

The wiper switch came from "daytonatoyota". Both shipped surprisingly quickly and it was a good ebay experience.

I was literally looking up prices on the wiper switch yesterday during lunch. It is one of five things I would like to do with my truck within the next year. Cruise Control is so nice to have I was using mine last weekend and was very pleased to have installed it.

black one is a 96 with the 3.4v6 in it.(probably my favorite one ive had so far) and the most fun to drive. Red one is an 85 sr5 top of the line when it first came out haha fuel injected.

No need to pull wheel. No need to be nervous pulling the airbag as long as you pull the neg cable off the battery first. Very simple install other than clutch switch. My suggestion would be removing the lower dash panel for ease of access, not having to install it blind or doing install upside down in your floorboard to see/reach it. The plug for cl sw is way up above the pedal in top corner of cab.
