    here we go....

I have searched. a lot. drank more beer and searched more and still haven't found exactly what I was looking for.

I just found a unicorn. 2006 super white access cab 4x4 4.0 with 35k miles looks as if its never been drove, and pretty much stole it.

I want to do a mild lift that will not resort in buying new uca's. keeping it at 2" or close will be perfect for what I need. if I get bilsteins setting them at .85 im understanding the front will be about level with the back. if I set them on 1.75 then what kind of AAL will I need for the back I currently have the 3 leaf pack but understand it only has 35k unmolested miles. (80 year old previous driver)

I know the adjustables are a fancy puck, now what coil will give me the same as the bilsteins set at 1.75..and having bilsteins set on 0????
say eventally I go with an arb then what coil would I need to keep it at the same height?

Get OME 884 coils and put them on with the billies set at the lowest setting (0"). If you get an ARB bumper you'll need to bump the coils, probably to 885s if you don't get a winch and want to keep it at 2" of lift. I don't think there's any coil you could buy that would give you 2" with and without an ARB bumper. Maybe the toytec coils would be a bit better for that because of their higher spring rates. Id look into both for options. As for AALs, the single leaf is the cheapest, followed by three leaf progressives, then followed by a full leaf pack. If you don't haul very often you will probably be fine with the single AAL.

With stock leaf pack, you will be level with stock front coils and Bilstein's at 1.75''

If you set Bilstein's to 0'' and put on OME 884's with no weight up front, you would probably need the Toytec 1.5" TSB AAL if you do have the TSB 4-leaf pack, or Toytec 2" AAL if you have the stock leaf pack.

The "X" springs are just the new coils from OME (different construction or stressing process, something like that). You should only even be able to get "X" versions of the OME coils now.

With the 884's, you should probably be able to squeeze by with stock UCA's, but it may be difficult to get a good alignment. Best bang for buck UCA's are Light Racing. Expensive but higher quality would be something like Total Chaos or Cambug uniball UCA's.

5100's all around with OME 884 at 0. Weathertechs, Carhartt seat covers. BFG KO2's 265/70/17. T4R SEMA wheels. 18% tint on front windows. General Springs HD 4 leaf pack, Leer 100 XR shell.
I put 884's on and dont need UCA's but it might be the next major thing i do. just building it as i can. I also put a new leaf pack on in the back. if your leafs are shot (2006? might be and probably a 3 leaf pack?) an AAL might not be in your best interest. but the wheelers 3 leaf is what i was going to do if I didnt have a shell. got maybe closer to 1.75" with the 884 and billies up front after settling and 1.5" in the back with a new leaf pack and shell.

Y'all are helping me tremendously. So with billies set At 1.75 in the front with stock setup in the back it should sit level?

Probably not. Depends on the shape of your rear leafs. Mine were shot at 55k

Right now it looks like a grandpa truck. But with recently getting married and buying a house I can't do everything i want right now so I'm settling with just getting it level with tires and a few other little things to ease the modding pains

Guess I depends on how much you want to spend and how you use it. I mainly hit fire roads but do some semi-rough stuff also. I have been pretty surprised at how well mine does even though its 2wd w/locker. Bilsteins and 884 with an aal would be a good step. But most here (myself included) would say wait and do it right. CO's, uca's and a rear spring pack. I have a full Icon set-up ready to install but I am either trading mine in for 4x4 or converting to sas. Check out DSM to get an idea of costs.

Yeh I've thought about waiting to drop a few thousand on it, but won't be happening for a while so that's why I ask what's the best way to level it for now.
