Sucks. Western Jersey we got around 30" of poweder. Roads are gonna be sloppy for a while. The towns don't even know how to handle this much snow. (Might have been a record storm we'll see)

Where I live, the county DOESN'T plow or scrape the road, since I live on a private road, and the county says they can't plow the 2 miles of gravel road from the end of my road to the pavement.
Perhaps by Thursday I'll be able to get out, since after tomorrow it's not supposed to go below freezing again, and we might get some rain to help melt the slop on Tuesday.

That really sucks. The township will plow my gravel road but they wont salt it. Usually throw down cinders but occasionally theyll salt.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
As much as I dislike snow (it's fun to drive in sometimes!) I wish we got that much here in Montana because fire season has been crazy the past couple years and I fear this summer is going to be worse as winter here has already been milder than last year.
The last really major snowstorm I remember in Montana was when I was a kid in 1995, we got a hammered by a big bruiser that just buried the town. I can't exactly remember how much there was because I never paid attention to that when I was a kid but I've got pictures in the old family photo album and at the time my Dad had a lifted 1978 Ford F-150 short box on like an 8" lift and I think 40" tires and the truck was completely gone, there wasn't even a lump for it under the snow! I also recall a snowdrift that had piled up to the roof on our house (2 story) that would allow you to get on the roof. It dropped that much snow all in one night, too. It was just barely coming down and starting to stick on the ground when I went to bed and woke up the next day to being buried! That's the last really bad storm I remember, we've had a few decent storms since then but nothing like that. Montana never had fire problems much at all back in those days and most the mountains had snow on their peaks all summer long because the snowpack was so deep and summer never lasted long enough to melt it all. Nothing like hiking a mountain in the middle of July and having a snowball fight on top to cool off! Haha

yeah, chains are pretty much mandatory when you live at the top of 13% grade switchbacks.

I kept my taco in the garage and my 4runners under my carport away from all the damn road salt. I used my 4x4 quad to get me around these past couple days.
