I was halfway up my hood in one of those puddles one night. Pretty much the last time I thought mud was fun Haha. Shortly after all 4 of my wheel bearings took a shit. Definitely a fun road to just to go and hang out though. I've seen some huge flatheads caught back there. In the summertime there is a neat quarry up on the other side of the railroad tracks. Crystal clear water and you can see remnants of an old track and cart. There are no trespassing signs everywhere so I wouldn't stay long. Back in the day it was a pretty popular place to go cliff jumping from what I hear.

 

It is not so much me it is all the other winter driving challenged I am concerned about.

The fine ones who get stuck 1/2 way up a hill and just leave the vehicle

The High End SUV`s that can`t be bothered stopping for traffic control devices

 

I got my wife a full size px4 inox in 9mm a few years ago.. I really like them

Me too. And I was a driver for a couple years.

 

All the constant rule changes really killed it for me Murph. I'd still go to the race if for nothing else just to get the wife drunk & take advantage of her.

 

Is the 5% left just liking the left hand turns?

 

The last straw for me was a couple years ago when they penalized a the driver for using the rules to his advantage. I think the same year they stuck Danica in the race as the fan's choice. I was already on the fence with all the sponsorship horseshit.

The 24hr edurance race where they take 1mil$ racecars and thrash em flatout from 12:00 Sat till 12:00 Sun

 

I've never been into going round and round or oval and oval all F in day!

 

Never been to a Nascar race before until one of our friends invited us. He works for the media team for RCR. We watched the lower class race since he's much busier on the higher class race days but it was still a pretty damn cool experience getting to be in the pit and their RV.

He gave us the radio's too so we could listen to their driver/all the drivers.

 

We all like different things it would put me to sleep

Myself I would much rather participate in any sport then watch

I do tend to get bored easy

 

Rally is badass, I enjoy most all formats of racing, dirt is my favorite, Sprintcars, Miggets, Supermodifieds, Baja/BITD, Motocross, Enduro,..

Ifen you don't care much fer oval track you need to go to "The Chilli Bowl" or the "Lil Hoosier 100"
