3 year warranty on the revolver I'm sure it holds up well.... I like how when fully rolled up it doesn't completely block rear window

Do you still have access to the side rails for tie downs?

Yep, brand new this year!!! All 2005-2015 models you had no access to your side rails and you would loose them!

My understanding is yes. They claim full use of the rail system. Gssxr ordered two but he's still waiting on delivery so I haven't seen it installed on a 16 yet.

So no access to the rails using the revolver x2? How did you relocate your side rails? Was it just unscrewing them and bolting them down lower?

@Yaozer said he'd call. After looking I'm seeing full access to stake pockets and "clamps onto" rail system.

    :annoyed:

I may need to go trifold if that's the case since I will need my tie downs.

Breathe....breathe...hahaha. don't make me eat my words on F1 vs G2 comment earlier ....the peer pressure is too strong.:D

Ok. I called them. They claim that there are four bolts that utilize the side rails on the truck, so you can still utilize the rail in between the spots where the cover bolts on. So you will have access to most of the rail, but not the entire rail.

He estimates that the rolled up cover is about 1' to 1.5' in diameter, which seems to be more space than the bakflip. This is concerning for those of us loading motorcycles or atvs in Tacomas with 5' beds.

He also stated the vinyl should be treated once a month with vinyl protectant. IMO, that's kind of annoying. I can stand on my current backflip cover without issue (super convenient for loading the roof rack and cleaning the top of the truck), but he recommends not doing so because the claim is 400 lbs of EVENLY distributed weight.

Has anyone stood on these retractable covers without cracking or other issues?

I saw a video on YouTube where they say as you fold the tri pieces it increases weight load capacity. He stood on it when it was all the way folded towards the cab....but looked like he weighed a buck fifty too.

I weigh about a buck 70 and stand on my closed bakflip regularly with a backpack leafblower without issues. I use the leafblower to dry the roof of the truck and back windows after washes (yes, I baby the paint).
