You know how this shit works. He hugged a tree. With his truck.

    Tree hugger.

The fact that IRL he is far from one is what makes it even funnier.

Rejected your truck over a tiny thing like the wrong transmission ?!

Geez, I hope your sales rep was appropriately embarrassed and apologetic.

No I haven't covered it, I'm sure it gets some on it but it hasn't been a problem for me. I put it in the garage at night and let everything melt off of it and dry.

Mostly personal preference, however we deal with a lot of fog here in Ohio so I believe Amber color fog lights make most sense. I'm using them with my OEM bulbs and haven't switched to LED's yet. They spread a nice yellow glow once on. The film is quite cumbersome to install, so I suggest a steady hand and use the "Wet" install along with a heat gun to mold it to the curved glass. Here is the information where you can buy it for yours. They have other colors besides yellow if you prefer.

Love the job you did on the grill... Did you plastidip or paint? How's it holding up?

They are pretty bright. However I need to figure out how to angle them down. right now, they are spreading a little higher than what fog lamps should be doing. We do not have much fog here so it isn't a problem.

I saw there is a knob (screw type) on the fog lamp. Does anyone know if that is to adjust height/angle of the fog lamp?

In the 602nd TACCS (waaaaaay long time ago)

"Popeye" drove a Humvee for 6 weeks without updating the 1800 for the headlight being out, and never got caught by safety or vehicle maintenance. Among Airmen, he was a god.
"Sprinkles" told a story once of how he convinced a girl to eat a donut...off his dick.
"Bruce" got a black eye in his martial arts class when he smacked himself in the face with his own bo staff.
"Mongo" was 6' 8" and almost as wide across the shoulders.
"Forklift" was almost as big as Mongo, but stronger, and could deadlift a GP medium tent and put it on the top shelf. Solo.
"Redwing" was a hardcore Detroit Redwings fan who tricked out a 1990 Grand Am with stickers. Way to many.
"Brick" broke the building when he clipped it with the tine of the tactical 10K forklift.
"Gilligan" was skinny, goofy, and it rhymed with his name.
"Bobber" failed out of PJ school after discovering he couldn't float. He had to be resuscitated 6 times.
"Sparky" took 440 volts after hooking up a MEPP-6 without first checking phase.
"Sloth" was the ugliest human being alive, and made the Goonies character look pretty by comparison.
"Hairy" had the last name Butts.
"Crash" found a way to roll a deuce-and-a-half on flat pavement.
I caught "Cap" because of my name.

We would have called you Hugger, and plastered it EVERYWHERE. Your own mother would update the baby book if we said so.

    Best. Unit. Ever.

    Too many to list...
Dipped the grill bezel and center symbol. Slightly different than most, first time using the stuff. Think it came out well. Still has "braces" but tones it down. Will match the badges once I get it cleaned from all the snow/salt we have here and have some time. Back to work for now...

So weird thing happened last night. Or maybe not but figured I'd share. I put in LEDs in the brake lights/running lights yesterday afternoon. Everything seemed fine until I got out of work at midnight. Hopped in the truck and headed home. Went about ten yards and the truck stalled out. Got a warning on MFD said "brake and accelerator pressed at same time". Checked my foot position all okay. Checked the brake pedal all okay. Tried to go again. Same thing, ten feet, stall, warning light. Long story longer. Turns out it was a defective LED. It was shorted and sending power for the running lights back through the power for the brake lights and making the truck think I was pressing on the gas and brake at the same time. New LED problem solved. Didn't know the truck had that warning feature and I pretty much read the owners manual front to back during my daily constitutionals.
