Dude, CELs don't come and go for no reason. And working o2 sensors don't throw codes.

You definitely have something going on there. If I were to guess, I would say it is leaning out at certain throttle positions/rpms/loads.

Agreed, it would be cool if there was an easy way to protect the flange on these trucks without loosing clearance though. The bottom of these housings is decently strong in stock form.

The shocks you pictured are between 10 and 13/14 years old years old. The coils are newer but that style body/shaft has not been made for at least 10 years. SAW has always used Eibach coils, the earlier ones were just powder coated SAW red.

If you didn't, you need to follow the indexing and pinion gear spring preload procedure when the actuator is installed. Use the Tacoma FSM instructions. A specific tooth on the actuator pinion must mate with the last rack tooth. Also the "locked condition" switch can have finicky contacts that act up when disturbed past the normal "installed" travel. And yet another thing, the armature/worm gear shaft uses a little ball at each end as thrust bearings. They are easy to lose and frequently get wiped away with the old grease. If one/both are missing the range of motion will be off.

Did you decide to keep your truck after all? What did you do with the old springs you had? Were they the Deaver J59's?

Okay so...my 04 had the glove box light and i took it from that truck and put it my 2000 because it had the spot for it and it also has the plug for it so i plugged it in and nothing! Bulb may be burnt but is there maybe a fuse for those small accessories on the kick panel fuse block or the main fuse block? And @SilverGhost these are the plugs I don't know what they are!

thanks for pointing that out, it's been a few years since I looked into it, for some reason I thought the new design had the shaft on top.
