It looks the same as the driver side. You talking about the inner fender?

Yes. I noticed when I cut the passenger side and tied them up like yours for my pelfreybilt bumper that I removed the factory vents for the air intake in the wheel well and then tied up the flow path.

Hmm your right. Maybe have to get creative and cut some new louvered vents. Or buy a piece you can put in a cut out that gives you a safe way to get airflow back in there.

I was thinking about that. Thanks. I like to try to get ideas before I start cutting.

Nice! My comment about making some kind of louver was just to try and make it harder for stuff to get past the fender liner while still letting in air. You may get lots of stuff thrown thru those holes. Keep an eye on it and let me know how it works out!

We'll see. I just took it out and did some 4 wheeling in my field after the snow. Got some grass and crap stopped by my bubba mesh (the array of 5/8" holes pictured above), but can't see anything that came all the way through from under the hood when I look my K&N. Considering putting some thinner aluminum mesh inside and riveting it to the plastic wheel well (to allow flow but stop smaller hunks of grass etc). If you look at the factory slots, they are little angled louvers or vents, but not super effective at blocking- more or less big slots. I can't recall what they looked like after I was wheeling.

Side note, truck is running great these days. Was in Jackson this weekend and ran over togwotee pass wich was really slick today due to fresh snow on top of some ice. These ko2 are still delivering the traction! Also got 21 mpg on the way home with 91 ethanol free gas and a lil tail wind

Topper has been a stellar decision for travel. Love the thing.

21MPGs  Thats impressive. I usually can get 18-19 pretty regularly but in the winter my economy always drops down to the 15 range regardless of the type of fuel.

Tailwind was a big part of that. 17 is normal when its calm. Any headwind and it drops to 14-15. Which is often here in WY lol

I cant even get 18 except rare occasions with the tailwind. 17 is my average during the summer, 15 in winter. 9 against a headwind last time

Marc would you suggest those superbumps up front still? Getting ready to place an order from wheelers and thinking about throwing them in the cart along with enough spacers to get the height you did (if they will be all used idk, but theyll be on hand that way). Should help keep the front end smooth to match the rear air bumps?

Yes superbumps are wonderful. I definitely recommend them up front.

Marc, do you have the specs on the bolts you used for the lowers handy?
