Geez that pissed me off. The day before, I sat and waited for one to free up because they were all taken. I actually need it. That guy clearly did not

Technically I have both. But more than likely the 4Runner will be making this trip. Hopefully the Tacoma will be sold by then. Ideally, both the Tacoma and the other 4Runner will be sold and I can pick up a few new pieces of gear for the trip.

Agreed... Haha But I also need all the time between now and then to get more camping gear and do some maintenance on the truck.

I literally only have a tent when it comes to camping gear right now...

Nah, it's sitting in the backyard waiting for me to fuck with it. Hasn't been driven in weeks.

    Hey, that's better than me!
What are you going to do with it if you're just going to sell it?

Haha yeah. I have no camping gear right now. If the wife doesn't come, I'll probably sleep in the bed of the truck.
And the wife told me I can get the sliders if I lose 4 pound by March 1st. (My family is having a weight loss challenge).
    How's that for an ultimatum.

Haha yeah, I've got everything figured out. Just have to buy it.
Can't say I haven't slept in the truck. It's not bad as long as you've got a sleeping pad of some sort.

Oh yeah I've got a mattress and whatnot I've used before. It's nothing new to me either.

Need to have a few dents popped out of it, put a new passenger fender on it, get some fender flares to put back on it, and detail it real good.

I'd really like to get a new tent before this trip. Might use this as an excuse to get another 2 man tent. Or I'll just use my hammock. Don't really want to lug the 4 man tent along. Going to try and bring as little gear as possible.

Want to come pop a dent out of mine? Some idiot hit a tree on his last off road adventure in it. :spy:

Thinking about bringing along a hammock my wife has too. Would be pretty cool as long as it doesn't rain. @MatthewMay1

    I'm bringing the following:
    RTT
    Fridge
    2 burner stove
    cookware
    lantern
    2 chairs
    5-gallon water jug

Then the usual off road gear. I'm sure the bed of my truck will be full...

Man, I wish I had more of that stuff. I think my long term goal for my truck is to turn it into kind of an overland truck.

Same here. Gonna be a while though.

Can't wait to start working on my bed mounting setup someday.
