I had a quick question. When I drive around 50-60 mph my engine light likes to come on. But if I go 70 mph no light. Any ideas why this is happening? Also I have a supercharger with 7th injector kit. Do you think that might have something to do with it?

Yes the check engine light

Ive scanner it before they said it could be a bad O2 sensor but I just changed out the O2 sensor or "bad gas" and I just bought a wideband haven't had the chance to install it yet.

 

Do you think it could be the 7th injector or maybe it needs to be tuned?

 

I have the basic trd sc with no other mods. What would you suggest being the first supporting mod.
1. AFE intake
2. Urd Ypipe
3. Trd exhaust
4. Urd 2.85 pulley.
I plan on eventually doing all of the above . Just in stages. I barely paying off the cc debit from the Sc

 

Does the check engine light blink when you notice it?

Does the light go off on its own?

Is it coming on at partial throttle or full throttle?

 

id forget the trd exhaust..... u have mandrel 2.25 or 2.5 already. If u want a catback look for 3"
.....also wether the turds like it or not im a firm believer in a new fuel pump......... a wideband and boost gauge should be high on ur list.....before a pulley imho

 

And dont forget headers

 

The check engine light doesn't blink. It will go off on its own. And I've notice when I "drive it like I stole it" or use some boost. It will go off. But it's not automatic, I'll just be driving and notice the lights off. And I'd say the check engine light comes on at partial throttle.

Hahaha omg! This guy! I saw his videos on youtube. Claims 400+ hp with the same mods most member here have 300hp. And all the guy does is powerbreak the shit out of that poor truck. Quite INSANE!!! Lol. I had to stop watching because everything he said was lies or bs. Very into himself. Just look at the replys he gives to people who question him.

Im just glad im not the only one that saw that shit. I looked on TW to see if that guy had any posts under the same name. Someone asked him for dyno numbers to back up his claims on a video, and he basically went crazy on him.

 

Just went and looked at more bs on youtube, aparently the guy blocked all comments cause of all "the jealous haters and trolls" lol. The guy made several videos literally talking about nothing other than how grown up he is. Haha sorry but im just offended in general that there are people out there that idiotic AND own a tacoma AND makes it public. Makes the rest of us look bad.
