Alrighty now! First day back at work. NO lifting.....NO climbing.....Got an "assistant" who'll be shadowing me all day to do any physical labor I need done. Board meeting @ noon. Then home. Takin' it S.L.O.W.L.Y. And yes, it actually did feel good to walk in the door this morning. 26 years and one month, You get kinda "attached" to your job. Missed it. Missed SOME of the people!

Glad you're easing back into the job, Bluegrass. Slow and steady wins the race (we all know that's bullshit, fast and steady wins).

9 degrees here a few days ago. Snow everywhere you look. 48 yesterday, snow is now instant mud. 21 tomorrow. Maybe 70 by the weekend. Love me some Jan in Kentucky weather!

OK! Kind of a progress report here. 4-1/2 hours into the day and I'm holding up pretty good. Legs are kinda rubbery after 38 days of inactivity. No more pain than I left the house with. Actually think SOME of that is going away with a little walking. Got to hit my regular scale this morning. Since all this ordeal started, I've dropped 37 lbs. While effective, I don't recommend this as a weight loss program! (Need to shed another 25 or so) Funny seeing everyone's reaction to the new "hot body"! After I got the new antibiotic yesterday, the signs of infection have almost completely disappeared. Still have 6 days of the script to take, and will finish that, but, it's so amazing what the RIGHT medicine will do. Give me a few days and I'll be working these young whippersnappers under the table again just like old times!

Likewise, great job! I finally picked up a true macro lens a couple of weeks ago. No bees here now :( but I am playing around trying to do pictures of snowflakes. A lot more difficult than I thought it would be.

Great news!!! Still don't push it too fast. Give it 10 days, then work them under the table

I hear you on the antibiotics!!! happy the doc finally listened to you.
