So heres the deal, i just recently wanted to lift my 2013 Tacoma trd offroad 4wd dc. So i decided on toytecs 3" bilstein lift kit with coil kit. Ive had it on about a month and 1000 miles later... Lol, im wanting something else...lol
So now ive ordered the icon vs 2.5 series coilovers. Extended travel with CDC valving so i can adjust. Also ordered the vs 2.5 rear shocks with resi and CDC valve as well. Ill be using my new light racing spc UCA's that i already had and didnt install ( hope these will work ok). The rear are stock 3 leaf setup with the toytec add a leaf. What do u guys think of this setup?

    http://www.carid.com/icon-vehicle-d...l-2-5-vs-rr-cdcv-coilover-kit-mpn-58735c.html

    http://iconvehicledynamics.com/shop...25-series-rr-rear-shocks-wcdcv-0-15-lift.html

Note: when my stuff arrives, ill be selling and making a thread to sell my toytec bilstein lift stuff which will be the complete assembled front bilstein coilovers and rear bilstein shocks. The fronts are the height adjustables with eibach coils assembled ready to install. May include the top spacers if i dont need them with the icons. All has 1000 miles on it about month old so fairly new still

Spending all that money at least put some money into the leafs and don't waste time putting an AAL on the Tacoma garbage leafs. Your doing it right but can do better. All Pro's, Dakars???

Those are awesome coilovers, but please tell me you didn't pay $1759 for them.

Sounds like a terrible setup. Just forward it to the Midwest.

For real. Same thing I would like to do up front with Dakar leafs. Hope you like the setup.

Ill look into that for sure. I already have the aal on now. Its what came with the toytec lift i got from them. But i do want some better leafs for sure and some that wont ride like crap. What do u suggest that will be a good ride in back?

All Pro's or Dakar's or even the 3 leaf ICON 1.5 Progressive AAL is better than just one AAL

Which will be a good ride and not too stiff? Out of those 3?

I Was gonna buy all the icon stuff from autoanything because they have a 20% off promo ( as they almost always do) but the options didnt have the cdc adjustable valve.
If they would have, would have been a great savings considering free shipping and no tax!

Hope i didnt overpay for this stuff, i should have asked, is there any cheaper out there for this stuff i ordered? Pls tell me if so, my stuff wont be in for 3 weeks so i have time to change mind :)

Some guys, like me, by Dakars and then remove the third leaf for a more compliant ride. Then, after spending a crap load of money on stuff that weighs a ton, put it back in to handle the load, spend some more on even heavier stuff, and end up buying the Dakar D29 extra leaf. Now I have a beater as a daily driver 'cause my rig's so effing heavy.

On the search for leafs now. Considered for now doing the icon 1.5" rear leaf expansion pack, as metioned by @Unchained 5150. Found them on autoanything with 20% off for 181 total. Hope these work good for now

Kinda happy about how she turned out, with the COs set at Zero the ride feels very much like my drift spec 350Z that was equipped with full Tanabe suspension . . . Well except with more more ground clearance and the desert running at a lil bit of speed.
