I have a Demello. Love it. Would buy Pelfrey in a heartbeat too. It sounds like you need it sooner rather than later. You should look into the lead time of each. Might help your decision...

I have to second what @Alfred said about Brute Force Fab. Met Billy last week. Great guy and product, quick lead times.

Good luck, you'll love whatever you pick!

Good thread, I happen to be looking at these two options right now myself but leaning towards @Pelfreybilt .

I did this same debate when I purchased my bumper. The purchase was for the same reason, a re-stylized front after a bump.

I ultimately went with Pelfrey but it was tough. For me it was the front look. I liked how the Pelfrey was straight across giving better room for lights and a winch where the Demello dipped down. Not saying its inferior in anyway. That was how I personally decided.

    Best of luck:thumbsup:

I"m a Pelfreybilt customer and love their style and customer service. Not to take away from all the other great manufacturers out there, but I chose theirs. They're all awesome and each have a look of their own. You decide on what style you like and I'm sure you will be happy...:)

If my gf would let me get bumpers for my truck, I would get pelfreybilt. It look more compact, sleek, and have nice lines. Btw everyone in Hawaii has one :D:D:D^^^^^^^^^

Another thing I've noticed that does make these two bumpers a little different is the thickness of metal. I work as a CNC plasma operator so I'm pretty familiar with the strength of different thicknesses. Is it even a deciding factor that Pelfreybilt uses 1/4 and Demello uses 3/16? I know they are very close because I've cut both, and the metal braces they use could just make my concern redundant.

Just to give you some reassurance about the Demello bumper. A guy not too long ago hit a full grown cow with one and all it did was bend the head light hoop a little and broke his head light. Other wise the bumper was in great shape. I have beat the crap out of mine and I have no dents at all.

We use several different thickness. 1/8in skin, 3/16in internal bracing, 1/2in up rights and 1/4in winch plate. We feel the combo gives strength where it's needed and weight savings where you can.

It is possible it did but I thought his Ins just bought him a new bumper. But either way the bumper did an excellent job protectin the truck.
