    From Yaozer's post #316 it looks like the Revolver will have a slightly larger footprint when fully rolled up at the cab vs the trifold.

    My deciding factor was the ball and chain and that word is gospel if I don't want to live through hell lol.

    1. Do you care if when fully retracted the trifold covers the entire back window?

    2. Do you have concerns with vynal top vs a hard material? I don't live in snow or hail so it was easier for me to decide on this one.

    3. Looks like you give up more use of bed rail space with the revolver, but they still claim you can use some of it

    4. The trifold can open in segments...revolver is either open or closed...no other configs.


    Both look low profile and pretty nice.

    1. I got mirrors to backup! Plus Backup camera!

    2. Wonder if you have to treat the vinyl which might be a pain in the butt.... Plus I live with snow and crap.....

    3. Probably get more space out of the bed with the F1 and does the Revolver X2 lower the bed rails like the F1 does so you still have access to them?

    4. Segements would be nice!

    Not sure what the rail system looks like on the revolver yet so it's gonna be a gamble for me.

    You were all set on the trifold...stick to your guns lol.

    Personally if I lived in a snow area I would.go the F1. I be worried I'd fuck up the vynal scrapping snow off...but I'm ocd.

    Yeah. I have an older F1 and it works for me. There are idiosyncrasies that bother me. For instance, the rods are crappy and tend to flop around the bed. The rod holders they supply break easily. Also, there is a pry mark on the end of mine from someone trying to break in. bak says that they can't replace pieces of the tri-fold, so I'm stuck with it and it bothers me aesthetically. The biggest issue is the loss of the bed rails for me. I plan to dremel portions of the metal in between so I can use the rail to mount my hi-lift jack and other ish.

    I do like standing on the cover without worrying too much about breaking it. The other day I was getting stuff out of the attic, which is accessible from the garage ceiling. My truck was parked in the garage. I lowered my snowblower from the attic onto the bakflip cover and it didn't flinch. Then I dragged the snowblower across the cover and lowered it down from the bed of the truck. Again, I wasn't worried at all about the structural integrity of the cover.

    Overall, I can live with the issues for a while, especially if my wallet doesn't suffer.

    No buyers remorse now. I was on the fence too. It's gonna be on my mind until I get it installed haha. Sam's F1 looked killer in his posts.
