50" curved bars wont fit on the standard rack. I have done custom ones for the 50" bars but in my opinion they aren't as clean as one with an integrated 40" bar.

Getting exited about a roof rack in my future and want have everything ready for installation ... so ...

Is there any preference in what brand roof rails to use to mount a TopRac on a camper shell - Thule or Yakima?

How about roof rail length for a 5' bed; there is ~54-55" of flat roof on my A.R.E. camper shell and rails come in 42" or 54" lengths. 54" might *just* fit depending on where the mounting bolts for the rail are, but it might be snug. So is 42" long enough for the 5' TopRac?

My experience has been that Thule and Yakima are the same. Just different end caps. My tracks are the 42" and they will work fine.

Unfortunately even at that big of a quantity my discount on materials and laser cutting plateaus and I would start to actually lose money. I am working on some swag though regardless. Something I have wanted to do for awhile and just haven't. Stickers, patches, we will see.

That or I'd rock some medium sized banners, or a hood decal [to cover up that force field of light from bouncing off of it]

Cutout for a 50" lightbar isn't possible. The rack is only 47" wide. The ones to fit a 50" bar are a full custom rack and as mentioned previously I dont think they are as clean or nice looking as a 40"

Looks like you are starting to get a LOT of orders. How far will this push out receiving the racks? Do you think all orders would be received by late April or very early May?

Asking because I have a trip planed for the 3rd week of May.

Yes, I dont expect any orders to take longer than 4 to 6 weeks. As long as the laser cutter can meet the timeline I have given them, getting everything shipped out is easy. Powdercoater is already on board and ready for the group buy.
