Patrick Roy has been known to pull goalies somewhat earlier, than most coaches. But for a period of time in the 3rd - roughly around 11 to 14 minutes left in the 3rd - he had the net empty. At 4-0, I suppose there's not much to lose. But it was strange to see. lol

 

Clendening. I have to admit - I don't think I've ever really heard of him. Anyone know if he's even good?

Came to Anaheim from Pittsburgh. With Anaheim's defense getting healthy I could never see him come up from the AHL. Depres just came back and had a good night. Fowler should be back soon. He should get some playtime with Edmonton though.

 

From what I'm reading - many are hoping that he just fills in some space as a bottom pairing (like we need more of those), with all the current players on IR. And some are hopeful that a Justin Schultz trade is looming - and this guy simply fills in until we can get some D. I like that second scenario.

 

He played part of a season with the Canucks and I think he went to the Pens in the Sutter / Bonino deal

Good D man , never looked out of place , he'll probably do well on the Oilers cause he'll get some ice time

 

I highly doubt the Sens would want anything to do with a guy like that. Huge risk with very little potential for success

Announcers said he was stunned from the hit in the corner , sure looked deliberate to me in the replay

 

These announcers are among the worst in the league. They are MAJOR homers!! I have to put up with it all the time - watching these games.

That was definitely an intentional cross check on the linesman , hard to argue that footage on second look
