How much drop on the stock coils for the steel front plate? Do the 700# springs account for steel plate and full skid plates?

Also I was looking into possibly the OME heavy duty 2.5" lift. Adequate?

Still curious of how much drop on stock coils but I did get a response from ARB on the heavy duty specs.

The OME Heavy Coils are rated for up to 220lbs. added accessory weight. Specs are below:

2886- Bar Dia.17.5 mm, Free Height 402mm, No. of turns 10.6, Coil wt. 5.9 kg, Spring Rate 660 lbft/in..

    Pelfrey thoughts?

700# coilovers are the best option for running our steel bumper with wing and skids yes :)

    Odds and Ends
I would expect about 3/4" drop for a steel bumper on stock suspension, that will increase with skids, winch etc. You will also feel it when braking as the nose end will duck some. Many people add the bumpers and then suspension but it is pretty important to get the suspension upgraded to carry the weight in a timely manner. Those who choose to do the suspension first and set it up for the added weight just have to deal with a little rougher ride until they add the armor.

The OME heavy duty will work well. The spring weight is very close to 700#. We recommenced 700# coils for steel bumpers but 650# coils work well also. The main thing with the Icon 650# coils is the length, they are a 13" tall coil versus the 700# coils that are 14" tall coils. When you load weight on the 650# coils it is hard to get enough preload to carry the weight without violating Icons recommended adjustment limits of 2" of thread showing on the coil-over. The OME coils are not adjustable, rather they use shims so this is not an issue.

We really like the King C/O's because you can select the coil weight and valving rather than purchasing the C/O with the preset valving and coil weight and then having to pay to upgrade the coils and maybe even re-valving.

    Hopefully this helps

Any insight with regards to OME coils? 885s vs 886s for steel plate and winch? Also will have sliders on there.

    Hey Brian.
Does your Pelfreybilt fuse panel bracket fit your 2013?
It seems like my master cylinder/brake fluid reservoir is different than others I have seen.
My bracket won't work unless I modify it to remove the second breaker hole, or cover the OEM fuse box.
Which would require removing the bracket to replace OEM fuses... (not an option)

    _MG_0140.jpg

    EDIT: Modified to fit...

If it don't fit, force it.
If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.

How funny. I'm installing mine as well! I just emailed Satin about it.

In which holes are you mounting yours? Mine sits way higher
