Engine running it has 400w capacity. Ignition "on" (not "acc" and engine not running), you have 100w capacity. Which means that you have enough power to charge a laptop if the engine isn't running. For the keyless ignition, keep your foot off the brake and touch the start button twice to take the ignition to "on".

which post had the info on the proper way to check tranny fluid level?

if you're not passing someone, you shouldn't be in that lane if
there is any traffic around you. It's a passing lane, not a "fast" lane. Here
in VA, they can and will ticket you if you're cruising that lane.

lol. wahhhhh!! case closed. So following the state law now equates to "owning the road"?

You made zero sense. It's a passing lane, if you can't come to grips with that fact, not much more can be said.

Actually, no. The way the law is written is that if you do not yield to traffic that is traveling faster than you, then you are impeding the flow of traffic, regardless of how fast you are driving. Now if the other person is speeding, he/she is also breaking the law, but you do not have the right to drive the speed limit in the far left lane and not yield to someone traveling faster than the speed limit. I understand your opinion, but the left-hand lane is a passing lane, not a "cruise-at-the-speed-limit-and-screw-everyone-else lane."

I believe it's for towing; a trailer behind you could throw sensors.

Exactly! Some, obviously bob is one of them, think that the posted speed limit plays
a part in that scenario but it does not. It doesn't matter how fast you're going in the left most
lane, if there is someone behind you that wants to go faster, it's the LAW to gtfo of the way.

Lol case closed. That's rich. Also, I bet you follow every speed limit sign posted? Never go over by even 1mph? If so you are breaking the law. Case closed.

    http://www.knoxnews.com/entertainme...ft-lane-cruisers-ep-1090235087-362245091.html

From the article: "If a driver in the left lane is approached by a faster-moving vehicle from behind, the driver must move to the right – regardless of whether the approaching vehicle is breaking the speed limit.

It’s actually illegal in many states – including Tennessee – to cruise in the left lane when driving slower than “normal traffic,” regardless of whether “normal traffic” is breaking the speed limit."

In Georgia, refusing to yield right-of-way to oncoming traffic is a $200 fine. Just sayin'.

Yep, if towing always turn it off. It will trip the sensors out and than start doing whacky crap. Don't have a 3rd Gen yet but have two other vehicles with it and everytime I've towed and forgot to turn the sensors off it got real crazy and oddly enough going passed a semi with a trailer is what has always caused it to go completely bonkers.

That link goes to the page that gives you the information. From what I was told, it is the same as doing it on the Gen 2 Tacomas. I haven't checked yet as I don't feel comfortable doing something without proper instructions. I may ask if I can watch when I take mine in for the 5k service and I ask them to check it for me. I haven't had any issues though, so it's probably good to go.

Offensive stickers and stuff the wife doesn't know about.
Yeah, I turn off my BSM, PDC all the time, esp if the tailgate is down or if I am pulling a trailer, hell I feel that the BSM is annoying sometimes/distracting as well (mostly at first, but now getting used to it), the light catches my eye and I look over, plus I feel like it makes me lazy. Anyways as for the Qi, I thought it was mostly a fad at first kinda but I went ahead and put a TYLT Qi chip/pad in my Galaxy S5 which has been inside a Lifeproof case (best case I have ever had and the only case I will ever buy from now on) and it worked like a charm! Now it's the primary place I charge my phone (partially since I don't have cell service at my house, one of the benefits/downsides of living out in the country) since I put in in airplane mode at my house. Think I am going to get a charging pad for the house as well. That's why I won't ever go Iphone, basically can't do anything not apple approved to them and they honestly are pieces of junk, my wife's iphone5 has a cracked screen, alarm doesn't work/ringer doesn't work and glitches all the time. Not had a single issue with my S5, been through multiple deployments on multiple networks. In case any of yall want to get the Tylt Qi card or a Lifeproof case at an awesome deal if you are mil/police/ems/gov types you can get on GOVX.com. All sorts of awesome stuff at awesome deals and a great company overall.

I'm with this guy, people in California do not actively drive their vehicles and they will drive as fast as they can in the slow lane and honk at you if you aren't going fast enough for them. Usually, you think they would be exiting at the next exit, but they don't; they just tail gate you until you move over or exit

1: there's no feature for lane departure assist (I swore I read there was before buying but it's not there)
2: there's one button for bind spot monitoring (I think)
3: there's another for the backup sensor

Have you tried to back up with the tailgate open...........the sensors go full bonkers

the reason there's a switch is to turn off the annoying beeping if you're backing up while the tailgate is open....at least that is what makes sense to me.

I thought the same about the tailgate & sensors. Had them on my Titan in 06 and would of
loved to have a button to kill it when the tailgate was open.

the sensors only work in reverse so it would only need to be deactivated while you're backing up....if in fact they were going bonkers, like they do when the tailgate is down

I don't know what you mean by trailer sensors........so the answer is NOPE.
