One of my buddies has a set of Toyo M/Ts and I got him to let me throw them on my Tacoma and I loved them. And a girl I helped work on her old yota let me use her dunlop M/Ts and they were nice too. I will never get those BFG A/Ts though. I'm trying to wear them out fast so I have a good excuse to get rid of them.

The only problem I have with those is that most of the MT tires lack siping for snow and ice. I am considering Mickey Thompson ATZ next time around.

Thanks man. I found it on Craigslist and the guy only wanted a hundred bucks for it. If you type in "toyota roll bar" or "tacoma roll bar" you should find what your'e looking for. Sometimes you find the bar you want with lights already on them. I found the one i REALLY wanted with 4 130W Daylighters ontop for only $150 about two weeks after I bought mine. I was kicking myself in the ass for not being patient.

What do you mean by "siping"? I hear the Thompson Baja Claws are pretty badass tires too. Haven't heard much about the ATZ though.

Im in the same boat! I dont really care for my BFGs and am trying to ware them down faster so I can get something else. They arent as good as a thaught they would be in snow and mud. So I think Im ganna try out the Hankook M/Ts next, theyve gotten some good reviews.

I REALLY want Toyo M/Ts but I can't find them in 285/75 for less than 1K. So I might have to settle for some generic M/T tire. But I look at it like almost any M/T is going to be better than these POS's.

As expensive as it is to lift IFS, I'm considering puting that $$$ towards doing a SAS.

nasty dent on driver's side bed panel, shabby seats, cigarette burned interior roof, missing berf bar pad, cracked rain visor, removed hood scoop, unmentionable stain on back bench?
While my truck was in the shop because of an accident I decided to have the body shop install the bilsteins 5100's on all four plus the Toytec Add a Leaf with the 1.5" block I have seen the truck and it looks great( pics to follow when I can walk without crutches).
The difference in the ride is noticeable but is there any signs I should look out for?
Would I have to get any spacers for 285 16" tires?

blue led headlights, 285/75/16 grabber AT2's, custom pedals, custom shifter, flowmaster 40 series muffler, bedlinered fender flares, 2.5" lift kit via shackles and spacers, custom exhaust out the back, chrome exhaust tip, and Herculined bed, Weathertech floormats, Cabelas Trail Gear Camo Seat Covers ... Nice thing was I got the truck for $4000
Im running 285's with 2.5"s of lift and I highly recommend getting little 1/4" spacers. This pushes the tire away from the UCA a bit

they slide right on your studs, then you put the wheel on over top

I would tell you to go with 15's becuase the tires cost about 30% less than 16's. I want to get 15's but I love the shoes I have right now. So I don't want to pay for bran new rims that look the same and then have to get new tres too.
