    I already know Ill hate 488, 456 runs slightly higher than stock so I thats where I want to be not any lower. Have to remember I drive anywhere from 50-2000 miles one way for work, If I'm going to be revving that high on the highway I might as well have stock gears and drive in 4th

    Yup, and if I were to re gear I shouldn't have an issue seeing the mpg around 65-70 hopefully

    If its windy and some hills and driving 70 yup, it has a hard time staying in 5th around that speed because the rpm is soo low. Now 80-85 I can get it to stay in 5th no problem, Basically get used to driving fast on the highway or drive a slow enough speed in 4th so your not revving 3-4k. Or follow a semi on the highway, I've found my mpg goes up doing that but finding a truck going the speed i want is the issue

    L(1),2,3,4,H(5) But it only limits the highest gear, So being in 4 prevents the transmission from going into 5th. So being on the highway where the transmission is jumping between 4th and 5th, especially in cruise just put it in 4 until you think the truck can pull its weight in 5th constantly without downshifting every min

    Yes but not the way you are probably thinking of. If you start in L you can just keep shifting up the line until H if you wanted, and do down as well. Some times on a 2 lane ill downshift to pass someone so I'm ready to go soon as I have a chance, I hate when you accelerate too much and the computer tells it go way down low so it downshifts into 3rd and right away runs out of revs so it goes back into 4th.
