Agreed that this stuff is rough. One thing I've found is that all the heavy rubber bits they mix in, all settle at the bottom. When I re-coat, I've noticed that I can make it more or less smooth by how much I mix it up. I'm sure you could do this, or even strain out the thicker bits when you first apply. I got pissed off at the quotes I got for getting the top and hood re-painted. I didn't have the $ to have it sprayed either and the top and hood were so scratched and rock chiped that it was down to metal and rusting. I found Hurculiner and the rest is history. I'm not one to care much about how my truck looks on the outside vs how it performs. I have too many az scratches and dents to worry about it that much, as long as she gets me home than I'm a happy camper. If your down to try it I'm down to lend a hand and if I can make it to barrio on Fri you can check it out. Some love it, some hate it, some just laugh.

Sweet yeah man. I'll let you know. I think I'm gonna buy a quart and do a small square on top and see how it works out.

So on first gens with Uniball upper control arms, there's a slug that presses into the spindle that acts as the misalignment spacer on the bottom. Well mine decided to disconnect itself from the spindle, causing the front suspension on the drivers side to collapse on itself. Luckily this happened about 15 feet from my parking spot in my parking garage.

Fantastic people I always try to recommend them when I can. Personally I like the 3 hoop design. I am going to ask if they can make my 3 hoops out of 1" x 2" rectangular tube to keep my square them going.

    Yeah me too!
Yeah. Well at that point just get no hoops and no powder coating. Put the hoops on yourself and powder coat bronze to match wheels

LOL! None at all thankfully. Square tube sliders and bed rack, can't get round tube now.
That is a fantastic idea, you're a smart mother fucker!

Exactly. And there isn't really a way around this design. I'm super paranoid that it will happen again. So I need build something that works better.

No because the slug is aluminum and the spindle is steel.
