After a few weeks of driving my pickup, I fired up the 4Runner and jumped those monster speed bumps at North Gate Mall on Saturday. Pretty xxxxtreme

Also, while we're not on the topic of meet ups, I submitted my application to transfer to UW Seattle and Foster today. Now we wait...

 

Do you mind sharing what they quoted you or is that in bad taste? I think I'm going to be heading out in that direction this weekend.

 

Impacts are lifesavers! Even the electric ones are pretty good these days.

If i remember right PB needs to sit for the best results. So spray it and come back in a few hours and spray more. Then the next day actually do the work.

But honestly since you are putting dakars on and need new ubolts anyways, if the nuts didnt come off easy i would have gone straight for the grinder or sawzall and just cut them off.

I got a set of extended ubolts just laying around. And an aal on leafs if anyone needs it.

 

They did my shock relocation in 4.5 hours. But they had to grind off the stock mounts for me (which taco stig has done himself) and we had to fab up a missing piece for each side.
We should have tack welded the lower shock tabs in then put the shock in, tires on and see how much up travel I had and made adjustments.. So right now I only have about 4-5"

 

Impact and PB on the u-bolts is a must.

 

They put me down for 4 hours, might have them box my cab mounts while they're at it.

 

I'm going to have Mule weld on my CMC and Sliders here soon.

 

Anyone going wheeling/ doing anything truck related this weekend. I may go boarding but I'm down to get off road too.

I don't think you'll make it... The only way I know in there is either through the Tacoma watershed or over stampede pass.

There's another way in from 410 or something like that. I've never been that way.

 

You'll need a snowmobile to get there. And it's basically a field and some railroad tracks.

 

Never heard of this place, but if its over stampede pass then yeah we will never make it without a snowmobile. Good thing i consulted you fellas.

 

The watershed is off to all but railroad and utility people, and stampede is closed to all but cross country skis and snowmobile.
