    What's up dudes.

I've owned my Tacoma for about a month now and have gotten familiar with this forum and everything that comes with it.

My truck has a pretty significant rake, that I want to get rid of.

I am looking to level the truck completely. Whether it be lift the front end or the entire thing.

As of now I'm looking to get two billy 5100's with 884x for the front just to level the truck.

If I knew how to do it myself, I would in a heart beat. Unfortunately I do not.

I live in Massachusetts. Does anyone know any shops that do things like this? Or does anyone on here in MA want to do it for some extra cash?

    Thanks for the help.

The first time you put anything heavy in the back or hook up a trailer the front will be nose high after leveling.

Here's the northeast forum with plenty of people from Mass. that will be able to give you some ideas.

Ha, when I had an add-a-leaf installed before front springs, there was a pretty significant rake. Yours is just about level to my eye.

OME 887's on 5100's with ICON rear 2.0 shocks and ab ICON 1.5 progressive AAL with Camburgs Ball Joint UCA's for 3 inches. NEGATIVE ON THE HOCKEY PUCKS. Real Tacoma's don't use them.

Yeah I plan on getting 5100's. Not entirely sure if I want to get all 4 or just 2 for the front

If you wheel you won't really be able to clear bigger tires unless you do some trimming and clearing. Even with a lift, unless it's a big drop bracket. Most of the suspension lifts have almost the same compression points in the front as stock so going with too big a tire will cause rubbing and clearance problems. Some guys here have 255/85/16, 33", stock with minimal rubbing and none on a lift. If you go to a 285 width tire that is the same 33" diameter you will have rubbing even with a lift. 235/85/16 or 265/75/16, which are basically the same diameter are about as big as you can stock with pretty much guaranteed no rub.

To clear anything larger than a skinny 33" tire you either need to trim or go with a larger drop bracket lift. But there might be some that will come along and correct me.

I think you really need to ask yourself what are you really trying to do. Do you want to just level it off or do you want to lift it to put bigger tires on it? I would do the 5100's all around but that's just to have the same dampers all the way around
Well that's not entirely true. I have 285's and barley needed to trim. It's on a case by case basis

BTW, I think mine looks OK too

So, ultimately I've decided that I want to level the truck. And I'm going to do so by getting 5100's all around. I want to lift it 2 inches all around but don't want to get bigger tires, so I won't be doing that anymore.

So the 2 options with the 5100's are you can use the notches by themselves and put your factory springs in it and raise it 1.75" (that's the closest to 2" that they can be set) or put a set of springs in it. Either OME or Eibach make springs that would work good if you leave the 5100's on the bottom setting.

If you want to spend as little as possible just do the 4 X 5100's and set them to 1.75" (they do not ride bad at all with the sport springs)

If I set iT to 1.75 in the front wouldn't it be higher than the back? Because the front pair are adjustable and not the back
