Please do not put those 15's on there. That is some of the dumbest looking shit I've ever seen and will literally destroy your wheel bearing instantly. These trucks weren't built to run 15's, don't try to force it. And if you're dead set on fitting 15's, retrofit smaller brakes and calipers on it.

But for the love of all that is good and holy, do not put some fucked up ass combo of spacers and crazy bs wheels just to push everything out that much.

The main reason I want to fit 15's is the tire sizes available. I don't want 17's they are big and I don't like that. And you can't get a 33x12.50 or a 37 for a 16" rim. Which leaves us with 15's. Now if you want to see crazy I can show you a picture of some 15x18's with 3.5" bs and 2" spacers.
Now I could put a nice wide tire on that will bulge out and cover the brakes. And I'm ok with going through wheel bearings every few years. I go through a u joint every few months.

 

you got something very wrong with the driveline if you go through a ujoint every few months. i replaced mine because they were blown, but its been about a year since i last replaced mine and not a single problem. There are 37s for 16" wheels. mostly Interco Tires but maxxis has a set as well and some 33s lol

 

I replace one u joint every 3 or 4 months. I just give my truck hell. And I guess i said that wrong. Those size do exist they just are atypical. Only a few companies make those sizes for 16's and when they do they are expensive. And what I'm seeing is a 35x12.5r15 is about $80 a set cheaper than the same tires in 315/75r16.

Should i go 2" or 3" mcneils with maxtrac spindles and 285/70/17 trail grapplers?

 

What are the options about lifting the rear. I already have deavers with 5100 in the back. I have a slight bro lean I want to get rid of.

 

New leaf packs & depending on how much lift you need to be level may need to be custom, blocks or add a leaf would be the cheapest route, I'm not sure if an add a leaf will work with the Deavers though.
I'm running a 1.5" block with my expos. I think a small block is ok, its the tall ones that cause problems.

 

I have glassworks 4" flare 3" rise with 285's. I didn't like how much overhang the fenders had.

Shackle flip kit will give you lift as well as increase your down travel. Depending on the manufacture and the shackle you can get between .75"-1.5" of lift

Ok I've searched but I need clarification. I know everyone says the spindles push the wheels out 3/4" but is it actually the spindles or is it the required BS change for clearance 5.5>4.75". Or am I looking at both of these and it's an additive 1.5" move to the outside???

 

According to Maxtracs site it's the spindle that adds 3/4 to each side.

 

Then the backspacing change would add an additional 3/4" can anybody confirm?

 

It makes sense, it took 1.25" spacers to even my rear with the front.
