The gm guys said that when the last two trucks were released. They grow on you once you're around them and start to see them modded. I know what a 2016 gm truck but that won't happen. I'm too deep into my car to trade it in

Seeing the 2016 Tacoma in the flesh definitely left a different impression on me after hating the design I saw online. Testing a DCLB tonight. Gonna see how differently it drives from the DCSB.

Let us know what you think of the difference between LB and SB. I am leaning toward SB for the better turn radius around town, but can see when the LB would be useful. I hang 12' kayaks out the back of a SB currently, and it's fine. More interested in the difference in drive.

Will do. From what I have been told the DCLB only weighs around 50 lbs more so there is no real noticeable difference in power. Also heard it feels a little more stable when towing but I will report back after I test it.

Well I tested the DCLB. Was hot off the truck and had only 15 miles on it. As I suspected the truck felt a bit smoother on the highway portion of the test. The DCSB felt a bit more nimble and snappy but that isn't really surprising.
This truck felt like it did not want to hold it's gear as much and felt a bit more lethargic. I tested another auto with like 15 miles on it and it felt similar. A few weeks back I tested a silver DCSB auto with a couple of hundred miles on it and it felt noticeably more powerful. I am not sure why, whether that be the transmission/engine starting to break in or what but it did feel significant.
At any rate, the DCLB feels like one might think it would. Long. =)

My complaint is that I cannot get OEM Toyota leather. I would need to have installed 3rd party leather.

Picked up mine a week ago. Traded a 3500 ram dually for it, so it's a bit of an adjustment. But I love it so far. I've got no regrets. After I bought my wife's 4runner in October, she got tired of me stealing it and told me to buy my own. Love the color also. Kind of fell into the truck. Pretty happy . All stock for now, tint lift and tires coming soon I'm sure

Whats going on MGM fam?! Just wanted to introduce myself in this thread besides the "TW Newbie" thread. My name is John (JQ) and got a 4x2 DCSB. So far only have done HID low beams, LED fogs, and LED interior lights. Looking forward to seeing how the other MGM's mod their trucks

How are you digging the JBL? Does it have any kick to it?

Don't want to hijack dude's answer, but I can say the JBL system is awesome. Very nice punch in the drivers. I am way more impressed than I thought I was going to be!

Hows the magnetic grat hold up with hiding dirt? Like if you dont wash it for two weeks will it be cleanish looking still? Or is it like black where you have to constantly wash it?

I wasn't able to wash my truck for almost five weeks after it rained several times and it looked fine. Obviously it looks great washed and waxed but it holds up better than black for sure.
