I named them myself. I wanted to note the bottom sensor and the top sensor. Picky, picky, picky.

Funny you ask about the brakes. They gave been great so far. Quiet and they stop much quicker. Hell they got tested on the highway tonight on the way home. :D

Used a grinder with a cut off wheel to cut sheet metal and used a set of electric sheet metal sheers to cut the plastic flares on a nice smooth line.

So how do you like the 5110 Tundra billies in the rear? What is the advantage, more travel, weight capacity? Do you have to mod the mounts at all?

More travel as 11" shocks. Better dampening to soak up the bumps due to the extra weight I have in the rear. Note they are for trucks with at least 4"s of lift in the rear.

So begins the slow process of custom installing modified Bushwacker fender flares. I have source longer stainless bolts and I am using rubber fuel hose as a spacer behind the flares. The pocket bolts will be the install point on each fender since I have to trim off the bottom to accommodate the 315's.

So I am using JB WELD epoxy on each spacer and gonna let dry for a few days.

Next will be to cut off the bottoms and trim out with some special fender trim I have. Test fit, drill holes, prime holes, and install.

When installed on a stock truck they use the mounting bolts on the bottom inside the wheel well. The pocket bolts are completely for show normally and do NOT mount to anything. Since I have trimmed my sheet metal up to accommodate 315's those bottom bolts no longer exist. So I am turning the "show holes" into the actual mounting bolts. If I don't put the spacer in, the plastic fender could kink or bubble as I tighten the bolt down to secure to the fender.

That's what happened to my bushwackers, I just deal with the fact that they don't look perfect I guess.

Cheers to you for finding a solution to resolve that issue though Gramps

Subbed, I picked up a set not long ago and still need to get mine all cut up. Good thinking on the fuel hose as a spacer, how did you measure to check how big each spacer had to be? Or did you plan on them compressing a little

I actually started with solid nylon spacers. The depth needed changes a bit as you go down the flare. I quickly realized I needed a rubber spacer of some sort to be able to compress the depth for the variations in contour. Plus they will be easy to trim if one is too long still.

I bought knock off bushwackers for half the price, haven't had a chance to install yet... They look legit but won't know till I install I guess. Thanks for posting this idea I may have to borrow it, saw similar idea on YouTube but like yours better.
