Have you added the additional bolt to the front?
I have the same MudFlaps on mine and I am thinking on adding a bolt to the inside edge. They are solid, but a little help doesn't hurt.

I did one self tapper on the top and 2 self tappers into the plastic near the inside edge. Just be careful you don't instantly spin them and kill the holes you make. I have a picture, hang on. i did that to front and back

Thanks! The self tappers is a good idea. I don't know why I didn't think about that. I use them all the time on home projects.

You'll need to reach around and push the plastic to the head of the screw so it cuts through. It's soft plastic so it will bend away. And don't drill too fast when it catches or you'll strip it right through

If one ever pulls through I'll just put a washer and a nut on the back

Also, have someone stand behind the truck to make sure they are angled and positioned correctly before you even mark the hole locations.

Thanks! I already installed them, so it would be just adding the extra holding point on the inside edge.

These are 8.75 inches off the fender in the front and 9.25 inches off the fender in the rear. They sit about 8.5 inches off the ground due to rake.

These were installed AFTER going through mud at Cleghorn. I just hosed the fender out and not the rest of the truck

Took another trip this weekend this time up on San Carlos reservation. Had to cross a good size Creek 6 or 7 times throughout the day. Had water up to the bottom of doors and no leaks. Plasticolor Flaps did their job! All in all about 60 miles of off pavement driving that day. Shot plenty of quail

He's a great dog. Really mellow around the house. A machine in the field. He ran through his pads and kept going. Poor guy was down a couple days sleeping it off afterward. His feet got a bit soft this season because we've only been out a handful of times. He's tough as nails though. That motor doesn't quit.

No, I haven't added any extra screws yet. I do plan on adding an extra on the inside of the fender since nothing is really holding it on. These flaps are stout as is, but a little extra never hurt right?
