Truck is currently at the dealer gettin the new transmission tsb done and I mentioned the harsh ride TSB as well. They basically asked me if I wanted it done or not and I told them I would get back to them.

I havent had a chance to haul much yet, but will be next summer as well as trailering a 20ft skiboat. I have little knowledge of the TSB, I just see it mentioned all the time around here. Ive read a few threads on it, but figured I would just ask.

    Is it worth doing?
Is there something I should check to make sure I need it (Do all 09s need it?) or should I just have them do it since they are offering?

As I understand it they havent included the 09s yet (the printoff I have still says up to 08 - TSB 0305-08) but the dealership made it sound like they would do it if I wanted.

Any thoughts or clarification would be greatly appreciated!

I had it done on my 09 dc it was worth it to me because I use my truck to haul things daily.I was hitting the bump stops pretty hard on a full load after the tsb I was not. Its really up to you and what you use your truck for. Just my 2, there are a couple threads on this if you search

Yeah Ive gone through several of them. Im worried about the ride when I trailer the boat next summer. Id hate to pass on this if they will do it now if it will be helpful in that regard...

I had mine done and of the several heavy loads I have hauled, it handled fine, no bump stopping, didn't feel washy.

I actually prefer the post-tsb feel/ride/handling compared to the pre-tsb feel. YMMV
