Ask what maintenance records they have for the truck. Ya its low miles but with its age stuff needs to be done. Timing belt ,water pump, tune up. etc...if nothing has been done maybe use that info to get the price down. Also ask what the invoice price is? And get as close to that as possible. It's a 15 year old truck they should be willing to negotiate. Let them know if you don't feel comfortable with the price you will just walk. These trucks hold there value and that truck is clean with low miles but for a 4x2 I think it's overpriced.

52k Miles? That's a hell of a find! I bought mine with 140k. By the way toyotas are the longest lasting vehicles around, Im at 150k on my 04 Tacoma with no major issues

Extended cabs are much cheaper. Mine is a V6 5speed 4WD and bought it with a little over 100k miles with $9000. I could've negotiated too but the seller was already being weird.

I love my access cab, or extra cab, love having a fullsize cab and works great on the trails. The tiny seats are tight but they work when needed, I shove buddies back there

I wouldn't buy it with that high of an interest rate. And with it being 2wd, I wouldnt waste my money.

    It's a PreRunner so I assume it's a TRD OffRoad.

He said he could get it to 5.99%. And I plan to put $4000 down. So $12k loan. And I plan to pay it off fully in two years. So my true cost will be about $1000 over.
