Lost bolt for idler pully

    What size is the bolt for the idler pully lost the bolt it's a 06 4.0 trying to find bolt before work tomorrow service department is closed near my house for Toyota

    Well I got the bolt ordered from toyota and I bought a duralast pulley from autozone but now I'm finding out there's a dust cover washer that goes with that is there anyway I could get away with using a regular washer? Need truck back on the road asap

    there is three idler pulleys in these trucks.. thats what he meant by which one

    I recently had a serpentine belt off on another Toyota. The washer that was associated with this pulley was not your typical flat washer. I'm not saying a reg. washer won't work. Just pointing out an observation. If it were my truck I would source the washer at a dealership.

    You could probably get away with a washer that fits the bolt long enough to drive to the dealer and get the correct washer. If you leave the wrong washer on and it ends up seizing the bearing, your truck is DRT (dead right there). Then you pay for a tow, a new pulley, and probably a new belt. Fix it right the first time.
