    That's great.

I think it's funny that my border collie doesn't know that she can jump up into the bed of my truck. She'll run up to it and kinda halfway jump and then decide that she can't make it

I know it's dusty AF in here.

He's good, full of energy! Been taking him to the beach a lot and every car ride so he gets use to it for the long hauls. He's getting good being off leash around the yard too. He went on his first wheeling trip the other day, we put his bed in the back seat and he chills or sleeps even through the bumps. Met up with @cynicalrider @V5ioV @planters15 @Yamaha_TacoR1 and @porchop to play in the snow. Wish I had more time to play but it was a nice break in the day from all the volunteer shoveling I was doing.

a lot of people turn the snorkel head around while driving in heavy snow. its still a snorkel.. it works fine facing in any direction. it just only works as a ram air intake when facing forward. just think about when the truck is idling... no air is being forced down it, but its still an intake.

I've just come across recommendations that if the ram air head is reversed, it should be used in situations where you're driving less than 15mph otherwise there is a bad vacuum.

    The precleaner/filter; 55mph or less.

Wasn't always sure the repercussions of running sideways either but I have seen that done too.

Thats cool dude.... Mine does the same. She is a great traveler. You just have to slowly take longer and longer trips with them. On this most recent trip we were able to to do whole tanks at a time with out stopping (+/- 300 miles or 5 hours)

Labs are the best dogs for car rides. Mine would sleep for 8 hours straight if we didn't have to stop for gas

I turned it for the blizzard we had on Saturday. I've heard the snorkel scoop can not disperse snow like it can rain, never heard bad news about turning it backwards. I was just being cautious cuz I had no idea how bad the storm was going to be especially with 60-70mph gust and local flooding, I even dropped the fiancé's car on the mainland Friday. Pretty much planned our escape if need be. The snorkel scoop has been turned for 5 days now and had no problems with the truck (no scan gauge). I kept it turned for wheeling even tho it wasn't snowing because I knew all the trails would have low lying branches weighed down with snow, didn't want to whack one and stuff snow down the shoot. Unless proven info comes up, I'll turn the scoop inward 90* for future snow as well.

Plus I saw it on the Alaska Offroad Warriors show :anonymous:

Dude I took him to the bank yesterday, he got two treats from the teller and every girl that worked there came to the window to see him lol. And two ladies today at a red light were talking to him with his head out the window telling him how cute he is. To all the single guys.. get a puppy!

Interesting. I've always heard about the vacuum effect bla bla bla. I feel like you could point it wherever you want and it'll still run okay, at least for temporary applications. You have an ECU that will adjust if the airflow is slightly less. I'm pretty sure there's no drain holes in the back of my scoop head, but I haven't had the need to turn it from facing forward yet.
