Hey guys so I would like some insight on this. Ever since I got my tacoma I can hear air coming in from the seal of my door, I thought it could be the door liner but I never looked, well I checked today and it all looks good no rips in the door liner or anything. Then I back up and look at my actual door! Is this because it could be a replacement door or ? You can tell from the pictures that the driver side there is more space between the cab and the door then on the passenger side. What do I do!? The noise is so annoying.

I have the exact same issue with my truck. It happened after I opened my door on a windy day and it got ripped out of my hand.

To fix it you'll have to adjust the alignment of the door. I haven't personally messed with it yet. You could also take it to a body shop and see if they'll be cool and line it up real quick for you since they get paid to do that kind of stuff and know what they're doing.

Roll the window down then hang on top part of door and tweak it back in toward body. I seen it done, doesn't take much.

I think I may take it to a body shop like Pcbuilder14 said before I try the bend it into place method. I'm kind of glad I'm not the only one here suffering from this haha

If you notice where the door meets the fender the alignment is perfect, unless the bottom of door is sucked in you wont adjust the top in.

You pull top of door where it meets top of cab toward cab, with door open if that makes sense. The gap is larger on driver side than pass side if I am looking at pic correctly. your saying the air leak is top of door right. Anyway with the window down the frame around the glass isn't really that strong it doesn't take much to pull that frame inward. If your a big guy be gentle.

How did you do it? Put your knee on the inside trim and pull inward? I've done that on mine but still haven't got a tight seal.

If your truck is less than 36K miles & 3 years. I would take it to the dealer to have them address the issue. Not only fix it, but they send the information back to the manufacture letting them know of problems that are popping up.

Ask for it in writing and contact corporate office! Or just contact corporate office! Remember squeaky wheel gets all the attention!

Yeah I just put my knee on the door and pulled the top of the door towards the cab with the window down. No more noise and it seems like a good seal. My truck has 223k miles so that's a no go on taking it to the dealer haha
