what housing do you speak of? it's not a retractable cover like the Rollbak. looks pretty smooth to me, especially without those hinged sections! (please excuse the ford) ;)

Is this vendor going to be able to sell pop n locks for our trucks? That way we get everything we need at one time.

I'm in the fence with this group buy. I really want a G4 elite, but the discount is tempting.

How much weight can be placed on top of the G4 elite? I do like the the g4 has 2 ways to get into the bed from the front and the back. I want to be able to put things on top of the cover and I don't think they recommend it.

So I think I have my solution for mounting the bikes to the top of the cover. I wonder if I can design a mount that can be attached to the mounting bolts on the front of the cover. Possibly reusing the front rail. That way you can use a fork mount on the front of the cover.

I think this idea has made up my mind and I am going to have to go with the HD. I believe the mounting bolts are integrated on the f1. This will not allow me to remove them to attach a bracket between the two of front mounting bolts. I would like to make the bracket to have the ability to just unbolt the factory front rail and mount it to the bracket. Now if you have the factory, rocky mounts, or any other brand fork mounts they will be installed into the factory rail again. I cant see this being too expensive. Have to get with one of the tacoma world metal fabricator vendors near me and see what they think after I get the cover.
