    Tacoma with some stuff melted to it
    Im confused. The slug presses in from the bottom, the bolt being tight holds the slug in place. The snap ring should only be holding the slug in if there was no pressure from the bolt. If the bolt is tight then there is no pressure on the snap ring. Trying to picture what happened ???



    Unless non LT uca's are different? The way the bolt is set up it should be compressing everything together with no load on the snap ring. Now ball joint uppers do not have a bolt all the way through, so that snap ring does see pressure on ball joint UCA's
