It supposedly only draws 2.5 amps so even at 115V that only figures to be less than 300 watts and should be within the capabilities of it. Besides it is only a temporary solution until I get a CO2 tank in the near future.

I just bought SCS wheels so my cash flow is a bit tapped out right now. Please feel free to sell to the next person in line, I appreciate the offer though.

I can vouch for the pancake compressors working fine off the inverter. I also have used the HF ones on mine several times. They only draw 300 watts, and even if it they drew more than 400, the inverter will just trip and shut off before any damage would incur.

Anyone know the duty cycle on the inverters? Just because there is a max that doesn't mean it could be used. I'm not saying because I know but because it's better to be safe than caughing up a grand yiu should have spent on a compressor instead now on a replacement inverter.

Ugh. Spent the last 20min trying to beat my leaf springs loose, only to realize my shocks have bottomed out and are keeping my axle taught to my leafs. :payattention: I was scratching my head when I had the frame jacked up and the tires were 1/2" off the ground, but nothing had separated yet.

Will pick up my truck this evening from the fab shop with a new complete stainless exhaust system. Can't wait to drive it in comfort again, it's been a couple months back on the road now but without a muffler.

I ve been driving the Tacoma for a couple months now since my 4Runner needs some attention. I still need to get a nitrogen bottle and set up my locker, but otherwise the truck is done for a while. There's a ton of stuff I have planned for it as I save more $$, like a Dana 60 sas.
I spent a couple hours on the project truck a couple weeks ago, mostly taking the front end apart. I need a new front left fender and bumper cover and it will go back together. Other than that I just need to make a decision on the bed, either find a replacement or flat bed it.

Honestly, I don't know why more people don't do this? A small construction compressor and generator would air up much faster and if camping, the gen would come in handy for other things also. It is more cumbersome and takes up a lot more space though.

Sorry guys I'll be the slow poke refilling my dirty fives with the arb dual. Correct me if I'm wrong but the benefits of a C02 setup weigh higher on convenience than practicality. I have a hard time getting past the idea of quantifying air to $ and then stressing over how many fills I have left in the tank.

Thats one of the other reasons I went to the ARB dual, wasn't 100% sure how much CO2 was left. Im sure you can get a gauge on it though. You won't take much longer than me though filling 35's

How about the arb singles? Those are less than 300 and 50% cycle. Add a tank eventually to run tools wouldn't be a bad rig.

ChandlerDOOM filled his 35's up with them in good time, but yeti says that his ARB single is terrible.. Maybe the new ones are a lot better?
