Wait until you run out of CO2, then we'll see who's asking for air :p

No clue as the prior owner installed the ARB compressor and the front locker.
It is just REALLY slow as it is designed for the locker and minor airing up things, like floaties...

They had to have redesigned it because Chandler says his ARB single will air up one of his 35's in about 2-3 minutes.

I've been concepting a simple air up/down setup that utilizes 4 hoses at once with in cab controlls. I've seen a few of the systems out there but have a few ideas to make it more streamline. Lots of plumbing but it'll be pretty slick if all goes to plan.

CTIS FTW (Central tire inflation system). I bet Jon and Joe at Mule would come up with something, but pricey. I've thought a lot about it

There's a viair constant duty for sale for 300... comes with everything I'd need minus a regulator. But what's 30$ for that... I think I'll save a little more money before jumping on that. This weekend is gonna be a cb install though!

Its a great little unit. I abuse it like crazy and it just keeps on working I bring it camping so I can fill river toys for floating and such.

haha, I'll have that practical cake and eat it with a side of convenience. :luvya:

Serious note, these are the types of weird custom mods I dig the most. At the end of the day it's no more than some extra hose, few fittings, and some rigged up deflators. OBA will offer me endless air, and with a bit of custom rigging I'll be kicked back with the cool kids.

The original ones (i dont know when it switched to the new style) wasnt designed for inflating tires. It was sold as a air compressor but really was meant just for lockers. Thats why if you google about inflating tires with arb compressors youll see people saying not to do it and those people are generally referring to the locker version. The new one is even sold as a tire inflation too. I have no idea on speed but my single does just fine.

You couldnt really do a true CTIS on our trucks IMO. TO retro it youd have air lines that have to go to around the tire. Ive seen a couple retro fitted setups on RV's...no way id want to do that on an offroad vehicle!

But it would be easy to do a setup where you run a four way splitter (or two two way) and have a QD connection in each wheel well. Then run a short 3' ish hose that goes from the QD to the valve stem. Have an inline solenoid between the splitter and compressor,. Maybe two solenoids. One solenoid opens when compressor is on so you can fill the tires. The second would have a "dump hose" so you open it and deflate the tires. Course you'd want a relief valve in there so you dont overfill anything accidentally. Then a gauge fitting and you could run tubing and have the gauge in-cab.

THe hoses and connections would be pretty cheap. The solenoids would be the only thing im thinking might cost some money

I got the Stealth 6. I'm not a big fan of the beadlock ring style wheels unless they're real beadlocks. It's like having a hood scoop that does nothing. No offense to anyone who likes them, of course :)

I was on the fence. Wife's coin toss sealed the deal. I think they look good! Only thing is the bead ring will scratch more easily than the 6s due to the stick out factor. Oh well, on my stockers, I got over it after the 1 st scratch.
Sadly have the scoop too...o_O Which I hate, cuz it reflects and blinds me when driving into the sun. My last 2 Tacos didn't have it. But I'm gonna black wrap it to kill the glare and stick a light in it, so only a 79% loss not total loss.
